Lago Alberto 365 is a 21-story Class-A high-rise office in Mexico City. BTune was deployed across the central plant to not only reduce energy consumption, but also peak demand charges to lower costs while maintaining comfort. The demand reduction occurred via BTune deploying an automated optimized Turn Down and Stop for HVAC equipment after 5pm.​

SkyCity is a premier entertainment complex located in the heart of Auckland’s Central Business District. SkyCity is a premier entertainment complex (~1.5 million sqf) located in the heart of Auckland’s Central Business District. BTune was engaged to help the SkyCity Entertainment Complex achieve its energy consumption target by optimizing HVAC energy use in the hotel and casino facilities. Along with reducing energy use and costs, BTune was also leveraged to decrease carbon emissions.

BTune’s technology quickly analyzed the entire HVAC system to identify areas of inefficient operation and provided a recommended Energy Conservation Measure (ECM) to align the system with best practice performance. Some of these ECMs included:

​

  • Reduce the HHW flow temperature and pumping energy

  • Increase CHW flow temperature setpoint

  • Adjust the temperature and relative humidity setpoints and deadbands

  • Override the dew point control operation on Casino AHUs

  • Adjusted supply air temperatures on all AHUs

  • Reduced the fan speeds via VSD or EC fan controllers on all AHUs and FCUs

  • Implemented a proportional only Demand Control Ventilation (DCV) strategy with outdoor air dampers control

KIPP DC Public Schools

Washington, D.C. 

The campus building on Benning Road houses early education, elementary and middle schools comprising roughly 110,000sqft of space. BTune was engaged to optimize HVAC energy performance to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions.
