BTune was deployed across the central plant to not only reduce energy consumption, but also peak demand charges to lower costs while maintaining comfort. BTune was engaged to help the SkyCity Entertainment Complex achieve its energy consumption target by optimizing HVAC energy use in the hotel and casino facilities. Along with reducing energy use and costs, BTune was also leveraged to decrease carbon emissions.

BTune’s technology quickly analyzed the entire HVAC system to identify areas of inefficient operation and provided a recommended Energy Conservation Measure (ECM) to align the system with best practice performance. Some of these ECMs included:

Adjust the temperature and relative humidity setpoints and deadbands

Override the dew point control operation on Casino AHUs
